My blog title "mici zibi" are Chippewa words that translate to "great river." This is were the name of the state of Mississippi comes from.
Also, I am keeping a close eye on Hurricane Ike as the storm's projected path changes. Nine named storms this year and we are not even at the half way point of the hurricane season!
